- How are you affected by autism?
- My 18 yo son was Dx w/PPDNOS at age 5 and is now Aspergers. I make constant small goals and celebrate when each one was acomplished. He has climbed mountains! From a child who had only a few words,rocked,spinned,hated to be hugged,etc., to a happy young man who can talk about almost any subject,loves learning,and yes,enjoys hugs. It's a long endless road in evey aspect for parents and child.
